DESCRIPTION:Our star parties are free and open to the public.&nbsp\; &nbsp\
 ;Our observatory will be open and CAA members will bring their own telesco
 pes for you to look through.\n\nCancellations may be made in the case of s
 evere weather.\nAttending one of our Star Parties\nIf you have a pair of b
 inoculars or a telescope\, bring it along. If you need help with your tele
 scope\, arrive an hour before the event\, and we’ll be glad to help.\n\n
 For your comfort\, dress for the weather\, wear shoes that can handle dewy
  grass &amp\; note that the temperature may drop as the night comes on.\n\
 nIf you need to bring a flashlight\, bring one that shines red light if po
 ssible or point the light beam at the ground just ahead of you\, not towar
 ds the telescopes or peoples’ faces. Bright white light can ruin dark-ad
 apted vision and our view of a beautiful night!\n\nPlease park your vehicl
 es so that the headlights face away from the telescopes lined up along the
  north side of the parking lot (on the right as you drive in). Be careful 
 when walking around the star party area\; avoid stumbling for your own saf
 ety and to prevent damage to telescopes!\n\nBring a folding chair or recli
 ner to add comfort to your star-gazing.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;
